Michael
Simpson is passionate about helping clients focus and execute on
their highest, strategic priorities to get organizational, team,
and individual business results. Michael has over ten years as a
Senior Consultant with FranklinCovey and more than 15 years in management
consulting.
Prior to his work with FranklinCovey, Michael was a Principal Consultant
with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), a multi-billion dollar management
consulting firm. He worked as a project and knowledge manager in
PwC’s Strategic and Organizational Change Practice in New
York City. He coached executives and led large-scale consulting
projects in leadership and change among technology implementations,
process re-designs, and business process outsourcing.
Michael launched two profitable Internet-based technology companies
where he held executive management positions as Vice President of
Sales and Marketing and Vice President of Business Development.
He is a Managing Partner of eBusiness Advisory & Consulting
Services (eBACS)—a firm dedicated to coaching senior executives
in business strategy, leadership, organizational design, and change
management.
Michael spent a year teaching at South China University of Technology
in Guangzhou Peoples Republic of China. Of 160 foreign professors,
representing 40 universities, Michael was recognized as one of the
top ten instructors. While in China, Michael designed and delivered
a management development course for Nike Corporation. It was recognized
as one of the best development courses for Chinese managers.
Michael’s clients represent a variety of domestic industries
including technology, e-commerce, internet, professional services,
banking and finance, insurance, real estate development, sales,
telecommunications, manufacturing, chemical, environmental, and
utility. He has also consulted successfully with a number of federal
and state governmental agencies.
Michael has an M.S. in Organizational Behavior from Columbia University
and a B.A. in International Relations from Brigham Young University.
Michael is an Adjunct Professor at Columbia College’s Department
of Business Administration where he teaches organizational behavior,
leadership development, and entrepreneurship.
