Dr.
Dee Groberg, USA Consultant
Dr.
Groberg is Founding Vice President of International Operations
at Covey Leadership Center in Provo, Utah, U.S.A. He has presented
Dr. Stephen Covey's Seven Habits of Highly Effective People
to a wide variety of audiences in the United States and throughout
the world.
Dr. Groberg has academic training and degrees in Asian Studies
(B.A.), Applied Linguistics (M.A.), and Organizational Behaviour
and Instructional Science (Ph.D.). He has researched, created,
written, taught and published widely in many different countries.
He has participated as a guest lecturer at many international
conferences on such topics as productivity, quality and training.
Most recently, Dr. Groberg was the keynote speaker at the National
Quality Association Conference in Voronezh, Russia.
Dee
deeply believes in people and in their inherent potential. He
doesn't have to "build" what is already there. He
just helps release it. He has real life experience with a broad
range of organizations, from some of the world's largest multinationals
to some of the smallest start-ups. He has lived and worked all
over the world - in Japan, Korea, Taiwan and South-East Asia.
He has directed training programs in Africa, Latin America,
Europe, and the Middle-East - not only for expatriates, but
for local executives too. Incidentally, Dee speaks several languages.
Dee
has been to Malaysia on numerous occasions to conduct workshops
to a broad spectrum of the Malaysian corporate and governmental
sectors. He has been intimately involved in shaping the Seven
Habits of Highly Effective People program into an impactful
and interesting program that benefits individuals and organizations
alike in improving effectiveness. His client-list includes organizations
like American Express, Bank Bumiputra, Chung Khiaw Bank, IBM,
Intel, Kontena Nasional, Kumpulan Guthrie, MPPJ, MAS, Motorola,
New Straits Times Press Group, Perwira Affin Bank, Petronas,
Biro Tata Negara, Prime Minister's Department of Brunei, Shell,
Infineon, Tenaga Nasional, Telekom, etc.
Dee
is the middle child from a family of eleven, and he and his
wife, Sharon, have six children themselves. He enjoys reading,
writing, poetry, music, learning, teaching, movies, traveling,
swimming, skiing, scuba diving, spending time with his family.
