Pn.
Norrizah Ismail, Consultant
Norrizah has served as an Information Technology professional
in IBM for close to eleven years. During her tenure, she provided
consultancy services to diverse business operations, whilst
being entrusted with the stewardship of one of IBM’s top three
clients. She took it upon herself to be involved with the clients’
business challenges, to appreciate their concerns and to work
with them to formulate strategic I.T. plans. Norrizah has had
the privilege of attending numerous “Hundred Percent Clubs”,
a prestigious recognition event for qualifiers who over-achieved
their performance and evaluation targets.
Prior
to this, she pursued the academic profession in a leading local
university in the faculty of Computer Science. She is currently
on the list of course leaders for the Malaysian Institute of
Management (MIM). Upon her completion at IBM, she has also been
invited back by her clients to lead them in their planning and
strategy sessions. Over the last three years, she has also been
engaged by a number of multinational companies as an external
consultant to assist them in their executive placement strategies.
Norrizah
has been exposed to Stephen Covey’s Seven Habits of Highly Effective
People concepts and implementation strategies since early 1993.
She was fundamentally involved in the company-wide transformation
which led to IBM being honored with the Malcolm Baldridge award
as well as the Prime Minister’s Quality Award.
She
holds an M.Sc (Statistics) from the University of Kentucky,
Lexington (1981). Norrizah is a Certified Licensed Facilitator
of FranklinCovey’s Seven Habits™ and What Matters Most®
time management programs.
